The cable consists of two individually shielded, balanced pairs and two return leads. This ensures optimum channel separation and prevents crosstalk of the return signal.
The detachable whip can remain plugged in into the camera while the audio mixer can be quickly plugged /unplugged via the 7 XLR pin connector.
On the mixer side the outputs can also be hooked off from the spiral cable via a 7pin connector. The spiral cable has a closed length of approx. 75 cm and guarantees an extension of 4 to 5 meters (16 ft.) On both sides of the spiral cable are still 40 to 50 cm cable left.
